Project Manager (Varennes, QC)

Job Description:

Reporting to the vice-president, technology and delivery, the incumbent is responsible for managing projects assigned by the delivery office. As such, he/she is responsible for planning, following up on, controlling and bringing projects to a close while using the tools used at and set up by Maestro Technologies.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all teams involved in the projects to plan, follow up on and control deliverables;
  • Manage the project closure and do the follow up to the customer service;
  • Manageprojectclosure andtransition tothe support team;
  • Collaborate with the sales department to follow up on and handle requests raised after a communication or a meeting with the client;
  • Collaborate with the development team to communicate client needs and requirements, to follow up on ongoing file and to identify maestro* software improvements, its updates and/or software utilities;
  • Document his/her project portfolio to allow the monitoring of ongoing situations;
  • Actively participate in the logistical organization of the implementation;
  • Support and provide a high-level quality client service for problem resolution with respect to client business requirements while promoting best practices to ensure optimal client experience;
  • First level of escalation for all client requests;
  • Recommend and participate, with the director, in the improvement of processes already in place or define new ones;
  • Participate, when available and according to maestro* needs, in various maestro* activities (documentation of the current and future software and team needs, documentation of procedures, support request analysis, etc.);
  • Collaborate with management on various special projects.

Requirements:

  • College or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years practical experience in project management, work methodology and quality processes;
  • Mastery of customer service concepts;
  • Knowledge of accounting is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of the software and the construction industries is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of an ERP software is considered an asset;
  • Must have effective communication and presentation skills and be fluently bilingual;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
  • Management, leadership and client relationship skills;
  • Sound analytical skills, excellent judgment, creative and flexible;
  • Organizational skills, meticulous, known to bring projects to fruition.
