Account Manager (Varennes, QC)

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Sales team leader, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities to reach the company’s sales objectives. They must be able to find innovative solutions and apply them. They must have great skills and an interest in prospecting and acquiring new customers (hunter) and are responsible for existing customer relationships.

Specific Responsibilities:

•    Find new customers by analyzing the market’s potential to locate target industries and company prospects on the defined territory;
•    Create lists of potential customers;
•    Perform “cold calls” to generate meetings with customers to present Maestro Technologies’ services;
•    Maintain customer data up to date in the CRM and generate the customer files’ progression in the process of acquisition;
•    Take charge of customer meetings and understand the objectives accurately, stakes and needs and present solutions from Maestro that will increase the company’s value;
•    Take over the whole service offerings process in collaboration with the professional services team, present the offer to the customer, understand appropriately if the offer meets the customer’s expectations and manage the negotiation process;
•    Attain or go beyond objectives for sales, service calls and meetings on a monthly and annual basis;
•    Produce weekly sales reports to their superior;
•    Contribute to the development of sales and annual budget projections;
•    Contribute to the development of new service offers or the improvement of current offers that will help increase the sales.

Requirements:

•    A degree in business management or in any other relevant field;
•    At least 5 years of work experience in sales;
•    Knowledge of the sale of ERP software would be an asset;
•    Experience in consultative selling would be a strong asset;
•    Experience in the construction field would be an asset;
•    The ability to understand customers’ needs and determine if Maestro can offer a solution;
•    The ability to identify prospects/opportunities, to find new contacts and effectuate presentations in front of business groups;
•    Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
•    Excellent skills in communication and presentation (spoken and written) and bilingual;
•    Available to travel.
